    ffxi on 40g ps3?

    i recently picked up the 40g ps3, and was wondering if there is a way to get ffxi on it, it cant read ps2 disks, even with the software update.
    would i be able to move ps2 data from another ps3 and just copy it over?

    No, you need a Ps3 with backwards compatibility.

    well that sucks, thanks for replys though. sucks that im sure SE wont ever put it on a ps3 disk for installation

    nope SE is making a new MMORPG for all the new consoles and pc
