linksys wga600n gaming adapter

im using a laptop to try and configure the wga600n first using the cd provided. its asking for a password and no matter what i try i get nowhere. was able to get to a menu using 192.168.1.250, and i'd like to leave dhcp on if possible. ive tried setting static ip to the ps2, with no luck. i think without going through the setup wizard im stuck. any suggestions are helpful and appreciated.

Default passwords for Linksys routers are

admin

Try User Name: Admin, Password: blank. Should work.

in the setup wizard there is no place for username, its just looking for a password. i can get to the adapter setup page by using 192.168.1.250 as its default ip, but configuring after that is a loss. i tried setting my ps2 ip to 192.168.1.251 using 192.168.1.250 as default gateway, still no luck. for now i'm back to using the wireless g adapter from linksys until i can figure this out
