Wasn't able to find anything in search pertaining to this. I want to do this fight to get an item but really dont know what would be the best way to go at it and the wiki doesn't really give any good ways to go about it. Any suggestions? (First time attempting.)

Manaburn it. BLM x5 and a RDM/DRK can put him down pretty fast. He only has 9000HP iirc.

Can also tpburn it very easily with 4 fast&heavy melees (sam, war, mnk) with sleepies and opo necks, and a chainstunning rdm/drk.

This. I put my money on MNKs destroying this, but yes need the rdm/drk as mentioned above

Basically any DD worth his salt will do. Just make sure they bring an Opo-necklace+sleep potion and an Iccy wing.

He's terribly squishy, and rdm/drk chain stun will prevent him from doing anything unsavory.

I've been screwed with the TP burn + Chainspell strategy, as Diabolos Prime actually has a decent amount of resistance to stun, especially if you're casting it once every 2 seconds.

MNK/WAR and RDM/DRK can duo. Bring a BRD for an extra edge.

This fight is truley cake to TP Burn, don't need a Rdm/Drk at all as there's no need for stun, he should die before he gets a chance to hurt you at all really.

Like people said before make sure your melees bring sleep pots and Opo neck piece and store TP to 300 or 100 (depending on job and WS factors) outside the BC. You can bring TP with you into this fight iirc. Then just go in pop a poison pot and destroy him, simple as that.

I remember last time I did this fight one of my buddies wanted to try and beat my record for WS damage on him so he spent just over a 100k in total trying to do so and came /drk. We slept TP then went in poison pot and engaged, he didn't have macros for /drk so he had to do the couple JA's from menu and by the time he did SE/LR/MS it was already dead and he was flipping out on vent lol.

But ya really really easy fight to TP burn.

Throw more BLUs at it: head butt lands pretty easily and being squishy makes it kinda weak to physical spells, no problem in stun-locking it with 2-3 BLU.
