srsly? It's Google advertising. There is really no say on what can be shown. Since this is an FFXI related website, and the people who put the ad up probably wanted their ad displayed on any website with FFXI as a keyword, those ads are going to be displayed.

This is hardly news... BG doesn't really have control over which ads google chooses to display. If I remember it right, google picks ads based on keywords found on the website.

It pisses me off that google has gone to invasive/animated ads instead of sticking with their minimalistic ones; I used to leave googleadservices.com exceptioned on ABP because it wasn't invasive and I wanted to give some kind of revenue to the sites that used it over doubleclick or other pain in the asses, but I've since blocked google ads too since they've jumped on the annoyance bandwagon. :/

False, use Adsense before making retarded claims. You can configure a block list for ads, and I'm sure Sonomaa will add this ad to the list when he sees this.

yes, we know there are gilselling ads, we have used, Im pretty sure, all the available site blocks for gilsellers, though we try to add as many as possible, they have a limit

the site costs a lot of money to run, the image ads are worth more money than the text ads, if you do click the ads it gives us a little bit of money to support the site, if you dont thats your choice to not help us out
