    Overwhelm: mods and multihits

Apologies in advance if this has been discussed previously, but I couldn't find it if it was!

Mainly interested to know how Overwhelm is calculated in the added +% damage to the weapon skills, as wiki is quite unclear (and unreliable at best, lolwiki).

So first the easy question- does it add the percentage to every hit of Jinpu/Rana/Penta? Or just the first?

Next, when is it calculated? Before the effects such as Dia/attack buffs/food etc, or after? It really doesn't sound clear after I type it now, but maybe someone has some light to shed on that anyway.

    Cheers.

It really doesn't matter when it is added.

If it's a 19% bonus to your WD value, then the equation would be:
    ((WD * 1.19) *fTP) * pDIF

Through the commutative property of multiplication, this is equal to calculating the normal damage of the WS, and then multiplying by 1.19 at the end.
    (WD * 1.19) *fTP) * pDIF = ((WD * fTP) *pDIF) *1.19

Things like Dia, food, and attack buffs effect the pDIF value of your WS, which will raise the damage you do on your WS, in turn causing the 19% bonus to return a higher bonus damage.

Also, since the only difference between the first hit of multihit ws and the following hits is that the fTP of extra hits is always 1.0, it would still factor in, since it is a modification to the Damage, and not the fTP.
