running modzilla issue

So I'm home again for the holidays and hording my mom's laptop for a bit. Wanted to see if I could get this fixed for her. randomly it seems (happened at thanksgiving too) modzilla won't start at all. As it is I'm on IE atm because I can't get it to run, but I was using it maybe an hour ago. It doesn't load a webpage or anything, I double click the icon and the pointer will just idle as the load icon. It's about 50% of the time it won't load, then 50% it will with no issue.

My mom has windows vista and the comp is a HP Pavillion dv6700. She doesn't have really much d/l on it, so not sure whats causing this. I want to get it fixed though so I can deleted IE altogether so she doesn't get a virus. Any ideas would help a lot!

well, Im not sure what Im not doing, you might have to disable user account control though, thats always the vista problem in my book. Also SP1

Did you use taskmgr to see if theres an instance hung up in the background? If so kill it and try relaunching, not a resolution to the underlying issue but may fix the current problem.
