PSA regarding Cuchulain's Mantle

I've recently been hearing a lot of confusion about whether Cuchulain's Mantle is right for you and your TP needs so I've constructed a very easy to understand flow chart that isn't as much a chart as it is words on this post.

Do you have any job that doesn't end in mage? If yes, Cuchulain's Mantle is right for you! Congratulations!

If no, do you have Blue Mage? If yes, Cuchulain's Mantle is right for you! Congratulations!

For all you mage only types, I'm afraid Cuchulain's Mantle is not right for you, but feel free to buy one in preparation of leveling a melee job!

I hate to say it because I ain't got 3 mil to spend, but yes, 2~3 Str, 15 Att for 4 Str 4 Dex 5 Acc (7~8 Acc) is always worth it.

Why is Hauby/Cuchs better for TP than Korazin/Foragers?

Why is Hauby better than Byrnie?

Simple: the only thing better than Accuracy, is a lot of Haste.

Att adds a small boost to a multiplier in your damage calculations, Acc/Haste adds the ability to apply your damage calculations more often. Gear up in Acc/Haste, eat Att food.

Let me know when they add a 2~3% Haste back piece and we can re-open this debate.

It's impossible to nearly cap acc and cap haste without cuchulains?

Nearly =/= Actually capped.

Guess what, if you're swinging 92% with Foragers, and 95% with Cuch, you'll probably do more with Cuch's.

If you're swinging 95% with Foragers and capped Haste, are you eating sushi/a dragoon/wielding a 2hed relic/Ramzus/Jesus, cause my cat died and I wanna know if he's up there, his name is Gideon and he's black and white/getting Madrigal/riding Aggressor or Diabolic seal?

A lot, but the way the game works, getting all your acc from gear/merits/dex, and using att food gives a bigger boost.

Sushi is like +15% Acc, Meat is like +20~25% Att til it caps.

Wearing att gear would be great if you could get like 100~150 Att from it, and then cap Acc using Sushi.

As it is, it's been shown to work better if you cap Acc with gear and reap the greater rewards of an attack food.

I can't say, never use it except Dorado on Pld, but there is a hard cap on Accuracy.

I'd shoot myself in the face if I wasn't fighting a wingy Fafnir without eye drops/lazy mages, and was hitting 80% hit rate.

15% of 80% won't be 95% btw, be like 92% or some shit.
