Putting in a new HD

Just got my TB HD in today and I just got it hooked up and put in but it's not listed in My Computer or anything. It's listed under device manager and says drivers are up to date. I put it in and turned the computer on. Am I supposed to do something in the BIOS or the boot menu or anything? It's purely a storage drive but i've never put a new HD in so I'm a little clueless. Thanks.

You have to format it...

Instead of Device Manager, go to Disk Management and right click the drive and format.

You need to partition and format the new drive.

1. Control Panel -> Administrative Tools -> Computer Management

2. Click Disk Management under the Storage category

3. Right click on the new drive (it should have one big block that says "Unallocated") and select New Partition

4. Follow along with the wizard. The default options will most likely be correct for you.

5. You're done. Load it up with pr0n.
