Adventuring Fellow Persionality

I created my adventuring fellow before personalities were introduced. Am I stuck with the one I have, or can I change it somehow?

I'm positive you're stuck with the one you have since the only point you can affect the personality is during the initial quests for Signal Pearl. And that part of the quest was added later on so all of us who got NPCs ages ago never had a say.

If it bothers you you can also go buy items (Metamorphose Balsam/Perfume) from Ajakheem that alter personality but their effects are only temporary.

Yeh you can toss and request the signal pearl and change everything about your Fellow but they will start from scratch at lvl 30 and you will need to redo everything else too. It's a good option if you're still in the early levels. If however your Fellow is lvl70 with some hard-earnt armour it's not so appealing.

Fun fact: Your NPC resets to level 30, your "affinity" (or "reputation" or whatever you want to call it) drops back to 0, all the gear resets...

But you get to keep everything you've unlocked with Fellow Points (time extensions, fashion advice limit).

effect lasts until disbanded or zone to another area.

First time I ever looked up the details on those. It's cheap (30 points) but definitely not worth it every single time you call your NPC.

You can't change it, which sucks not only for dialogue, but because hat options are based on personality. Gogo having to buy hats with points because the ones for your personality all look stupid.

True, but meh, by the time I had a 70 NPC I had bought all 3 time extensions (lol like they help, maybe mobs would have been nicer), the 4th armor lock, two headgear and still have like 35k over.
