    Ninjutsu Debuff Potency

Searched around a bit, but didn't have any luck finding anything.

Has any testing been done to see if skill/attributes affect the potency of Ninjutsu debuffs? I'm particularly interested in improving the paralyze proc rate on Jubaku, it would be extremely handy to be able to increase the strength of my debuffs in situations where I'm the only one able to do it.

Jubaku: Ni's paralyze proc rate is pretty good! lolol

From what I remember, Ninja debuffs are static potency, like Elegy. Either nothing you can do will affect them, or no one has found the mods yet.

it is all a static amount. The potency of nin debuffs is not affected by skill lvl. All increasing your skill lvl will do is increase the chance that the debuff will stick.

Testing was done for Slow I and II, Elegies, and Hojo: Ichi and Ni. Both Slow I and II are stronger than Hojo, if the rdm gears for it (MND+ gear). Hojo: Ni is static at 20%, Ichi at 15%. Here is the link...

testing Blind and Para is difficult, and as far as I know, hasnt been done

When I tested Hojo: Ichi/Ni while doing slow tests, they always had a static slow%. I was unable to raise the % using any stats/staff/ninjutsu+. Although I didn't test to high accuracy using pvp, my tests showed 150/1024(~14.65%) and 200/1024(19.53%) for Hojo Ichi/Ni respectively. My tests have a margin of error of about ~1% max. It seems safe to say they're static values. I can't say for sure on Kuryami or Jubaku, but I would guess they're static values too~

I was a Ninja main for quite some time. I definately saw a potency difference in jubaku with different mobs. Against Bune, Paralyze seemed to proc way more often than it did against Overlord Bakgodek. Para never proc's on Kirin. Para procs more often on certain mobs I can say this is fact. Whether it is due to elemental weaknesses, level difference, or whatever, there is something that effects the potency of jubaku. It could just be level difference for all I know, but stacking INT from osode and Omega + snow rings in my ninjutsu macro amung skill+ and mag acc gear I could see a difference in my ability to land debuffs over other nins who didnt macro anything in. potency on the other hand i dont know much about.

In my testing, they were also static values. Kirshy's values seem right on the money. A full duration was always 300 seconds, partial resists resulted in lower duration (maybe 1/2, 1/4, 1/8...? I dunno.)

From what I remember reading, Kurayami: Ichi/Ni are -15/25 accuracy respectively.

What you probably notice is higher number of procs on mobs that attack quickly, double/triple attack, and/or aren't being fed a lot of TP. Kirin for example spams TP moves constantly, and TP moves can't be paralyzed, so you're not going to see many procs in that case.

Quick Draw will enhance BRD Debuffs actually, but for some messed up reason weaken Ninjutsu IIRC.

Quick Draw does not enhance Elegy afaik. It supposedly enhances the -resistance from Threnodies though.

As for Ninjutsu debuffs, both Hojo and Kurayami have static values corresponding to their level (Ichi, Ni). The -resistance from the -ton spells is static as well. I'd assume Jubaku's potency is static as well.

Edit: After researching the Elegy thing it may just be with Carnage Elegy, I don't know if anyone has tested with Battlefield Elegy. Elegy slow is apparently capped at 50%, which is why Horn +1 does not add to it but it adds to Battlefield Elegy(supposedly?).

Quick Draw does not affect Elegy (either), Requiem or Threnody. It also cancels the -resistance from ninjutsu wheel.

Probably, but I doubt anyone has done any real testing on it.
