Scientology commercial?

This is the first time I've seen an actual 30 second spot for a religion on TV. I know there's always plenty of movies being made about Christianity and etc, but I've never seen them make a TV spot advertising it like it was Dairy Queen or Burger King.

First amendment is one thing, but is it right to so openly advertise your religion on public television?

The commercial has been airing for about a month or more on Discovery Channel, and possibly other channels, but kinda old news

There is another thread like this on page 3 or 4. And yes the commercial is hilarious. Also, ever hear of Televangelists? Sunday is like a half day of religious commercials. There is also a whole fucking channel of religious shit.

I remember quite a few commercials for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints back in the day. Some offering the book of Mormon.

At the philly train station, there were huge banners over the holidays advertising all of L. Ron Hubbard's books. It was a little creepy knowing where that money would go. Not to mention all the books look stupid as shit.
