Tanaka talks about FF11 and FF14 during the latest interview on Famitsu.

Since this is FF14 forum i will only just translate those topic regarding FF14.

He said they will not selling xxx dollar/yen for this <specific new job> .
He also said, FF14 will not limited to Disc media distribution, Online distribution is possible too.

It could be, but I would guess that things are just in a downturn because of the FFXIV launch prep. It might be awhile but I wouldn't be surprised if you get another box eventually.

I guess it'd suck for them to have a major expansion made just to see 80% of players leave to FFXIV soon after release, so they're being careful now.
