I'm currently in 2 salvage groups. Both meet at least once a week and have had good success. However, as you know, salvage 35 drops can be fickle. We have a huge backlog on people who are interested in usukane boots. One of our groups is a 'select a set' group. The other is a 'choose top three items' group. Both of these lend themselves to some people interested in usu boots not getting to lot at all until 3-4 drop.


I've only done bhaf with either 6-7 people. I'm nearly always the bard, so on rampart farming I pretty much just troub/minuetx2 and let the DD's put up their screenshot numbers while I afk. However, just by observation it seems like the bees (and chigoes on 1F) are very weak. So I was wondering what could be done in terms of getting a duo/trio to just farm the 1F and 2F bhaf ramparts 3-4x a week using the dc/warp trick to enter.

One job would, of course, need to be thf. What else would we need to not be overwhelmed by spawns? Are mages even necessary or could the thf sub dancer and cover all the healing we would need? Would phalanx 2 completely negate damage from spawns?

I would imagine if we wanted to tackle 1F we would need a couple dd's in addition to the thf to take out mad bomber. Would thf, dd, dd, rdm work best? Could it be done with thf/dnc, dd, dd? Suggestions welcome.

thf + rdm can do them , using def food and keeping phalanx II up. However you will not kill all the 100 potential Place Holders, maybe only 25. Add anoher DD and you will kill much more. Those two ramparts are very easy, and mad bomber isn't a problem with a DD 2H, or just chainspell fire III if you only go with THF.

i used to go with THF DD RDM until we are all done with 12F rampart drops

easily kill entire 100 mobs

have more than enough time to do 1 2 F, usually have 20-30 mins to spare after 2F rampart

thf/dnc with bloody bolts can full unlock and solo the puddings/bees easily, though you obviously won't kill them fast enough to get all pops.. def food is unnecessary since bolts drain 150+ each and you can throw up drain samba and waltz as well
