I know some of us here are into science, a particular few into theoretical physics. I just received word from my advisor that Bill Gates has purchased and is in the process of publishing online for free the entire series of the Feynman Lectures. For those of you who aren't into theoretical physics on a professional level (myself included), this is still an extremely awesome set of introductory lectures given by one of history's great scientists, who was also a surprisingly good lecturer. In context, they were designed to teach incoming freshmen. So on the other hand it really is something of a free educational tool.
There is stuff of general interest too, in "Seeking New Laws" he discusses things like ESP and Astrology, and their consequences to physics if they were true.
It seems microsoft is doing this through tuva, so this may have a double meaning as an advertisement for some new service of theirs, but I'm very very very willing to deal with it as these lectures, imo, beat the heck out of most of the crap I could be watching on TV.
The idea is to eventually add optional commentary and such, so this is something that could become more and more interesting as today's physicists weigh in and update. As an aside, I fucking love his accent when he gets worked up about things.
anyhoo, I think at least some people here would really enjoy it.

EDIT: It's not the caltech series fyi, these are the lectures at cornell.
