Oh wow. Surprised to see this. I'm the leader of a rival shell of the one he was a leader in on Gilga and I always liked Gakka. He was always a pleasure to talk to anytime we spoke and he's my taruclaire buddy;; He definately did his part with SD and I'm sure he will be an asset to any LS. Good luck wherever you end up Gakka!

I was just as shocked to find out Gakka had transfered.

Diomer is correct. Gakkahakka did his part in Spoondaggers. He was a sack in the linkshell, earned from attending events and king camps so often.

Anyways, reason I'm shocked because he never mentioned server transferring to anyone(atleast seriously). He left with 1000 points in debt to the linkshell. But had just about 3000 points overall in king points. So he had very high attendance. Despite his loyalty to the linkshell I'm still very annoyed and so are other members in SD that he has server hopped. He didn't inform anyone. I'm pretty sure the only people who knew about this were Jaeger and Okesmoke(other SD members), who also server transferred with him. It was just very sneaky of him. I find it very hypocritical of him considering he would call people out numerous times in SD who were in debt but weren't making it up. A member in SD also paid for his account for awhile since he was having money issues and she also had access to his account. Since he transferred he changed his password, of course.


So yah. Mix feelings. Did his part but took a very shadey way out.

As a sack in SD I was also surprised to see this. He was a decent player, however very self-oriented, he did not say a word to anyone including people who had done him personal favors, ie paying for account, purchased him gear, members of his salvage group. My opinion may be slightly biased, because I was one of a number of Sackholders in the linkshell that Gakka got kicks out of openly talking shit about. He often made insults and accusations that I was making up fake jobs fake excuses in order to skip camps. When I had real life issues preventing me from heavily camping for a month he enjoyed ripping me over linkshell to other members. He is ok at his mage jobs, I would suggest against ever using his paladin. He would be a good asset to anyone that does not mind drama and hatred amongst it's members.

Hopefully this will allow you to make an informed decision about what you are letting into your linkshell.

It also occured to me that perhaps Gakka will tell you I am a jerk and am just being an asshole to screw him over because he left the linkshell without telling me, after having gotten gear. If you have any doubts about me, feel free to check the comments I posted about Chriso on his cross server app, he was also a member that transferred from SD without telling anyone, and as you can clearly see there I did not hold a grudge.

even tho i didn't him personnally and we were on rival linkshell , i have highest esteem for gakka, he never did shit to anyone, always saw him at any camp when he was on is really decked on all his job and have playing skill above average, this guy is a must have to any linkshell he can join, doubt you can be dissapointed by him, he is a hard worker guy and probably deserved all the stuff he got now, will be a great addition for your linkshell

Yeah from what I hear he had been talking to you guys about joining zen behind our backs too so I guess that says something about loyalty lol. He deserved the items he got. It's as cass said though, he also left 1000 points in debt which is like a years worth of points in our terms. Anyway I couldn't really care less about that part, whatever happens to gakka happens to him. I'm mostly curious to know where jaeger and okesmoke are as I find it unlikely the three of them would transfer out at the same time and not try to get into a ls together considering how tight knit they are.

I wasn't going to post but i want to give my personal opinion about Gakka, he is an excellent player, a very nice person, dedicated member, he camped a lot (used to stay awake during hours camping khim/cerb/tiamat), imo all that he got was well deserved, i am sad he left without saying bye, all his jobs are great geared and he is good in all of them.

Ironic considering the person who gave you the black tathlum, who also was the person you gave the pearl to, scammed one of his long time friends on his way out. I do know about the bribes that were offered to get people to come over to Zen actually which is really pathetic; don't forget he tried to get me to go over there too.

I know just a bit more than you think. Zen prided itself in tearing apart linkshells; that was the intent all along. As soon as he had gotten as much as he could out of the people he bribed or no longer had any use for them, they would've been scrapped. I can assure you Gakka never had any intention of joining you; he just took the bribes and led you on.
