    Mouse problem

I just bought a bluetooth mouse for my netbook: http://www.amazon.com/Cubeternet-Blu...8323726&sr=1-5

It works fine except when I left click, it seems to click 2 or 3 times per click...click in the middle of this text, it highlights the paragraph..click to minimize a window, and it fucking freaks out because i somehow hit it 3 times simultaneously.

Tech support email for the company is slow and kinda giving me the runaround. Is there a way i can fix this or is it just defective?

Sounds defective. You can try to reduce that by going into Control Panel > Mouse and slow down the double click speed.

My Microsoft Intellimouse of 7 years is going strong, but the last 2 years I have got this issue, which is partially resolved by me slamming my mouse on the tablet and tweaking the double click setting in Control Panel.

Double click speed is a computer setting (how quickly/slowly it recognizes 2 consecutive clicks as a double-click) not a mouse setting. I've tried it though.

This is seriously just 1 click registering as 2 or 3 or more.

Could it be a bad driver or something like that? /sigh

I've never had a bad driver mouse but as you have a Bluetooth one I do wonder if something is interfering with it.

It's a computer setting indeed, but relates to your mouse so it perhaps could work. But as you tried and it's no go, I've run out of ideas (since it is how I temporarily rectify my own mouse).

I doubt the company could help too much in my opinion, it seems a bit too out of the ordinary.
