Am I NOT suppose to fight these mobs? The fuck. I haven't had any troubles with difficulty in this game, but now it just got extremely ridiculous. I can only imagine what the rest of the game is like if I can't even kill these D: FUCK MY LIFE

Ahahaha yeah stay away from those things, particularly King Behemoths. Just when you think you've killed a Behemoth it gets up on its hind legs, regenerates all its HP and starts one-shotting your party. Adamntoises just spam their stomp moves and Quake so steer clear, they don't even chase you so that's a non-issue.

yeah just stick to the dogs and the oozes in gran pulse, and the birds are doable too.

Meh if I stagger the King Behemoths, they're no problem. Nevermind, Gran Pulse ain't so bad rofl. I should have just been smarter and avoided those mobs at first.

When you get to the waystone part/tutorial in Gran Pulse there isn't anything to connect it to at first, so don't worry about it. As you explore more and do more missions and advance chapters more become available though.

I find that you can actually drop them before they get all human like and attempt to one-shot your guys (I use snow to tank that just in case, and he rocks 6k hp so not an issue). i rock commando, sabo and.. whatever the buffer is, so by the time I switch to relentless, his stagger bar is more than halfway. If I end up staggering it, I can usually end it. Lightning hits for about 20k in stagger without buffs... with full debuffs and buffs, she's hitting home for 25-40k. I am a monster.

Quick question. I'm on my 3rd mission, and the mob is on top of a mountain. How do I get up thar?

EDIT: Pretty sure this game just turned into one of my favorite games of all time. Gran Pulse is fucking delicious.

I just got to grand pulse myself. Staggered a Behemoth King, got him down to just a sliver of life and the fucker stood up.

Didn't want to start a thread just for missions unless others think it'd be active.

Does the mission raiting affects the rewards resultant from completing it? I didn't get five stars on my last one and i don't want to miss anything important just because I didn't save/reset and get a better star rating.

I just got onto Grand Pulse and I'm looking for ways to make gil any idea's?

After messing around here for about four hours, it's really astounding how gorgeous this is mixed with the NPC activity and just how aesthetically pleasing it is. It's a shame it takes 20hrs+ to get here to see it. The only other thing I was different was that the NPC activity was dynamic instead of reloading the same battles by walking 100yards away then coming back, but it's not like that's something to gripe over or make a fuss.

Holy shit, it takes like an hour to get anywhere in Gran Pulse. I just spent the better part of an hour just trecking to the 3/4/5th mission, jesus.
