Does anyone know what day of the week and possibly the time, as well, the weekly reset happens?

It's supposed to begin gradually resetting once you stop skilling up.
I'm starting to believe it doesn't.
I've been duoing with my cousin. He's been CON and I've been ARC and yesterday I hit 17 and shortly thereafter I reached the first level of fatigue. I had gotten more skillpoints while grinding than him however and he hit 17 today while doing a few leves and also then he reached fatigue within pretty much the same amount of skill points as I had the day before. If it was decreasing over time he'd have reached fatigue later than me but he didn't. I also stopped grinding on ARC directly after I reached fatigue and did other things (sleep/other classes) for atleast 16 hours without losing it.
However I did see someone as CON22 earlier today which made me go WTF!?
It gradually decays for a class when you're not actively skilling/exping on said class (might even have to switch entirely off the class, not sure). It goes through a 100% reset once a week on top of that.
You didn't specify that he switched away from Conjurer at all. If he didn't it makes plenty of sense why he hit fatigue at around the same Rank-17 if he only played Conjurer. Also... since this whole system is so vaguely explained, it could be that your natural decay only fades back out out to the point where it just starts and not all the way out to completely reset.
|100%|100%|100%|100%|100%|100%|100%|100%|90%|80%|70%|50%|30%|20%|10%|0%|
Perhaps the natural decay will only bring you to this bold point in the 16/8 scale of the chunks of exp/hr.
Sorry, we took a break from the game, crafted and leveled other classes during that time. He was not on CON and I was not on ARC.
However I guess that could make sense. That once you reach it there's no way to go back fully but I was under the impression that's how it worked during open beta. I never played much then.
What I'm really interested in knowing is what day of the week the base exp resets. Because while your class fatigue will decay if you switch to something else, your base will not, that only resets once a week. At least according to the video explaining how the fatigue system works anyways.
With FFXI we knew that at midnight JST repeatable-every-24-hour timers were reset. So now I am dying to know when the base exp resets, so I know when I need to get my ass in gear if I haven't hit the cap by that day. As far as I know this reset hasn't happened yet, has it? If they planned it at JST 0:00 Saturday or Sunday night it could happen today or tomorrow.

If I am remembering correctly, we just passed the one week mark a few hours ago (~6 hours ago), can anyone confirm if the fatigue system reset? I did a bit of everything, so I didn't run into it myself, but I'm wondering if others did. Thanks
Fatigue wasn't reset. Buying CE allowed you more growth horizontal not vertical. ;o(
I killed one mob and my surplus disappeared, XP text is white again. WOOHOO!
It seems like you have to engage a mob and take one action after the surplus timer resets for yours to actually reset.
Confirming - first action to a mob resets from yellow to white. And hopefulki ninjaedited my discovery in right as I told him on mumble, I hate you.
The reset will be exactly 1 week after you first got sp on that class. It will stay yellow in your menu until you take an action against a mob post-reset. Once you take that first action that will set it back to white, you're also kicking off your new 1-week reset timer.
fatigue reset for me at 6am cst today, it seems it may be different times for others (probably goes off the moment you first got exp doing something)
at least I known the exact time mine resets now![]()
I am not sure how this works, my Surplus reset yesterday, however my friend who is a Gladiator 16 hit Surplus on the first leve after mine wa reset. He said he didn't seem to be getting any lower skill, but was getting the message he was in surplus. Which left us confused to say the least.
It's individual to each person.
I used to be in support of surplus, but it just helps the rich get richer. Anyone with a crafting class at surplus each week will stay ahead of everyone who didn't reach surplus in every week. There's no way people can catch up once falling behind by putting in extra hours as you would if surplus didn't exist.
Yes, too bad leveling more than one craft is meaningless in this game.
