Nothing has changed with SE stance on botting

I have noticed that people are botting in the lightning beetle cave and well after I send a crap load of reports I still get no response. I honestly think that SE doesn't care just like the stance they took with 11 unless it came to screwing other players! Not much has changed with this company and you would figure that by now they would of learned their lesson instead of the lost of customers due to them not giving a hoot!

I did 3 times and well no response and it is so obvious its pitiful. The botters even do things with the environment like running up cliffs that is impossible to do.

Considering at this point in the game money is so easy to get and everyone I know including myself has an excess amount, is their botting really affecting you? Even if that person gets banned, someone else will come along and do the same thing. Its the same in any MMO. All you can do is report it, and move on with your life.

its disturbing tho they are taking over a lot of the good solo camps. Its not the money thats the problem its the xp/sp that they take for free while the rest of us work for it!

There are a huge variety of camps all over the game. There are good solo camps on every single map, very spread out, almost any m ob that is easily killable is good for SP in this game. Not like in 11 where you had to go to very specific locations.

I don't really care about botters in this game, I think you should also just stop caring so much.

Wait a minute, I thought the whole point of all actions being handled serverside was to make it so you couldn't bot, or at least make it a lot harder. Why are there bots already then?

I don't know about the special task force in this game but i can confidently say that i've gotten over 20 chinese gil farmers banned in FFXI by reporting them with the special task force. They were literally gone the next day or two and i never seen 'em again.

The point of all actions server side is to make it harder to exploit. Bots are just scripts that repeat actions that humans could have otherwise done.
