Ok doods, I needs new headphones. My old ones were Bose earbuds. I want nicer ones. I'm a music nerd/snob and I get really annoyed when my music sounds like it's poor quality. My knowledge of headphones is limited so tell me what to buy, Spam.

I love my skull candy earbuds. Loudest I've had, only break after I wash them 4 times and I an feel the mfin' bass. Though I'm sure people are going to come up in here with their fancy sony headphones. I like earbuds personally meh.

I HAD earbuds and I will have a pair on standby but I think I'm ready to move up to some noise canceling shit. Not worried about loudness; good quality headphones worry about tones, all of em are loud. My Bose did well but I've grown out of them.
Bose had a bit too whiny of a treble for me btw. Ideally I'd like something less twinge-y.

With how easily I snag and end up pulling hard on the coords of my headphones (caused one of the ears to go dead on like 3 so far) I don't think I'll every get expensive ones

i love music too but i cant seem to justify spending assloads of money on headphones, primarily because i get the most out of my ipod in my car

what kind of budget are you looking at? headphones are the sort of thing you can spend whatever you want on, budget is your only constraint. can't really make a good suggestion without that sort of information

they have some offerings that fall into the midrange between casual headphones and audiophile which was perfect for me. shitty cheap headphones didn't cut it with the amount I use them, but I'm not enough of an audiophile to spend 300 bucks on headphones, not to mention amps and the like. Got some 35 dollar (on amazon, like 60ish in the SH store) earbuds that were considerably better than any i'd used before, and I hear great things about their over-the-ear headphones, but I haven't gotten any yet.

Akg 240S, make or buy an amp. If you want earbuds, can't help you there. No bose. Senns are pretty ok too. Seriously buy cans, buy amp. Play the cans for about 24 hours straight or however long it takes to wear them in.
Pretty sure akg cans come with lifetime tee on them too.
