So ya I searched the forums and didn`t find anything. I just started watching the show tonight and love it. Going to try and catch up before tonights episode.

Lots of fun episodes. The "Hipster" and "Zombie" episodes are my favorites.

Oh fail is me. Yeah I just watched the zombie/hipster ep. I really liked when Jane and Penny take that Israeli martial arts class. "Your funeral will be sparsely attended"

Fucking awesome show. Just watched from pilot to current this weekend. Hitler ep was great lol.

Hope he was the Reich one for you. Hope it starts getting a larger fanbase such a funny show. It gets decent ratings and was renewed for another season(3rd)

Do you have a link for that? AFAIK, they haven't even ordered a full second season yet. The last news I saw was they ordered more scripts(not the same thing).

Hmm I reread wiki and it was just more scripts :/
That isn`t necessarily a bad or good thing right? I dont watch a whole lot of tv so I wouldnt know.Well good because more time for the show to grow, but I find it hilarious and would love for it to have more seasons.

Well, if it didn't follow Modern Family it would have been renewed already. It has good numbers. The problem with having a huge lead-in is that the network stops looking at what you are doing and starts looking at what you're not doing.

For example Happy Endings usually retains 50-60% of the MF audience but the Halloween episode kept ~70% despite following a repeat episode of Modern Family and the episode being online early. I imagine ABC wants HE to keep up a 70%+ retention rate all the time which is, in my opinion, unrealistic. Modern Family is a multi-award winning, family-oriented sitcom. That's a tough act to follow for any show.

So what would be best for HE then? I feel the show doesn`t even fit with ABC`s comedy lineup since they`re all family orientated. I thought CC but HE isn`t as raunchy as workaholics(which I am a fan of) or tosh.o which I dont really watch.
I just read some info on it and the show is doing really well, so I think ABC might actually be a great spot. The show is building in numbers every week(and now they have a new fan) so maybe in a week or so it`ll get a full season.

I don't think it will be cancelled but they're being very slow to order the full season or renew it. They haven't even been doing a great job promoting it(something the stars of the show complain about a lot).

Like you said I don't think it is a great fit for ABC but it is doing too well to cancel so who knows.

Yeah I'm pretty sure I've never seen a HE commercial.

Neither have I. I found out about HE from a random tumblr site that had a few gifs.

Well, some good news is they got the full season order today. It's not a renewal but it is a good sign.

Tough to say. Like I said if it wasn't following Modern Family's massive numbers it would be a lock for renewal. Still, I think it has a good chance of being renewed now that they've committed to the full season.

It's doing better than Private Practice, Man Up, Body of Proof, and Pan Am(all on ABC) so I'll be very surprised if they cancel it. It is the (tied)4th best show in the 18-49 demo on Wednesdays. They might move it but I think they know that is pointless unless they have something better for that time slot(they don't).
