an A in a class that is 3 credits (4.0gpa) = 4.0x3 credits is 12
a B in a class that is 3 credits (3.0gpa) = 3.0x3 is 9

its more useful for schools that might have B+/A- grading where students cant figure out what that equates to, depending on how the university handles those grades

How many classes is that? 4? Where are you going to school? I just started my Masters in IT security at Strayer, and I found the first class lacking, but like 5 employers I talked to said they have high regard for Strayer. But that Intrusion Detection Systems and Firewalls and VPN and Network+ class looks more like what I should be looking into.
