Win 7 only boots in safe mode

Windows 7 64 bit Home edition - legit
    16 gigs of ram
    nVidia GeForce GTX 660 Ti

Last night I was playing borderlands 2 and paused on the inventory menu so I could go eat. When I came back, my computer had rebooted itself and could no longer boot windows 7. It reaches the windows 7 splash page, then my monitor goes into standby mode, as if I had shut off the PC and left the monitor on, beeps after 15 seconds, and reboots to do it all over again.

It only boots in safe mode, and actually boots normally when I uninstall my display drivers. However, upon reinstalling my video drivers, it goes into the infinite restart loop.

I have already tried a system restore, as well as reinstalling windows 7 - it still craps out on me when I install the nvidia drivers(directly from the nvidia site). I also checked my startup settings and made sure that "safe boot" wasn't on. Nothing I have tried has yielded any results.

Any input would be greatly appreciated. =/

note: I bought and installed my current video card about 1 month ago and have not had any problems whatsoever with it.

your system is probably blue screening and immediately rebooting from it. Last year my computer took a shit and did the same thing, only mine was a hard freeze with a scrambled screen. Turned out to be my video card.

Fack. Well, I hit F8 on bootup and turned off the "Reboot Immediately Upon Crash" option. This led to the black screen after the splash page, beeped after about 15 seconds, and rebooted again.
    So damn frustrating.

I would try uninstalling your graphics card drivers while in safe mode. If you can boot into safe mode it is almost always a driver. The reason I'm suggesting the graphics driver is it tends to be the one that makes this happen in my experience.

Start -> Run -> Msconfig -> enter. Click the boot tab, make sure safe boot is not checked.
