Odin/behemoth fates

Anyone stumble across these yet? Stopped by behemoth twice but it wasn't going on. Be doing quests in the shroud and haven't seen the odin fate. I'm assuming they're like normal fates that will appear on your map and just pop randomly.

I've spent the better part of early access that's been available to actually play in Coerthas, but I've yet to see either Behemoth related FATE pop up.
Random shout hearsay I've heard includes that it's a multiple step chain involving some of the Gigas related FATEs but I'm going to take that with a very large grain of salt.

The first Behemoth-fight FATE is in Snowcloak. (Uncertain of prerequisite FATEs)

Neat that Behemoth's Dominion has the cliff that the Behemoth is shown howling on in the cinematics.

I stayed in the zone for a few hours last night doing all the fates that popped to see if it lead to anything, Didn't fail any pretty sure we did all of them atleast once, never popped.

only saw the Khimaira mob fate once and it was right when I had logged in at 6am yesterday didn't see it the rest of the day

Cleared both Behemoths on Sargatanas. He hits pretty hard, 2-3k on tanks, with regular attacks. Once you get all the retards to quit running in and pulling it on mages, its not too hard. One horn at the end of the second fate. Would say roughly 100-150 people there.

Same Fate poped on Ragnarok last night around 11:30pm.

Was rewarded with the Achievement for beating him and 5 horns which I traded for a helm.

Did your party get initial claim to receive 5 horns? or maybe most dps?

I know, lulz, but you can trade the Behemoth Horn(s) you earn for what's essentially a poke at defending ring.

Pretty sure all that's required to get horns is getting the Gold medal for contribution (which is also required for the achievement). It popped about two hours before maintenance today on Balmung, but I only got Bronze since living through 6k Meteors is difficult on MNK.

Got silver also got 1 horn. Used my bard still died twice. Good luck living on anything that isn't ranged.

Yeah all his TP moves hurt like hell. Thunderbolt does around 3.7k, he has a conal front move called Stomp which hit me for 5.2k, not sure if he uses Meteor but most of the people there got one-shotted by something right before we got the "FATE Complete" message.

I noticed most these "HNM" type bosses, do a special move that literally kills everyone within a very large range.
For instance the chimera HNM thing, when low HP does something called Eyes of the dragon (I think it was) its a (max ranged distance, so you need to walk outside of target range to avoid this) 2 second ability that does not put a red ring or anything to give you a warning. Only way you will notice it is by the cast bar on him. Once its cast, its a large blue field that hits for like 5000+ If you are not ranged, you will die.

I may go looking for odin later, seems no one has found him yet?

On that XIVDB website, the Odin Fate is listed as being in quite a few zones, it may just be able to pop in any of them?

I did Behemoth on balmung last night. It was an absolute cluster fuck. I had to keep running up to him since he kept culling out of view for me. Is there a setting I can mess with to change this? Not sure why the game thinks I need to see most of the players but not the monster.
