So just got contacted by NY Higher Ed, telling me my loan with ACS is 72 days late. This is bullshit, as i've put it in forbearance while getting IBR paperwork ready. I contacted them in January about this, after they declinde my IBR forms (which were submitted via the fucking government website).
Called them today and was told that it was not in forebearance, but since i'm "full time" at a college currently they would be placed in it. Did a quick Google search and the shit i'm reading about this place is pretty fucked up.

So is there any way to transfer this loan away? I have money held up currently in education (Which i'm being refunded via my job) so I can't pay it off currently. My other loans are with Sallie Mae and Nelnet who are a lot easier to talk to it seems. While my loan isn't HUGE with ACS, I can't pony up to pay off the full amount right now or I would.
