looks a lot nicer the ScarVi were for sure, also Pombon looks so derpy lol
Spoiler: show
Love the fire starter
Graphics are still rather meh though
Game looks great, but starters are boring.
Hopefully the extra year lets them polish these in a way they couldn't/didn't with the last couple games. It's a promising start at least.
I think it looks adorable. Surely it won't evolve into a hulking masculine furry bait Pokemon... right? For the other two, I thought we already did "Water Gecko and Grass Owl" like 3 generations ago.
But yah, the graphics might not be exactly current-gen but they look leagues better than whatever legends shat out so I can give credit where its due. It certainly looks easier on the eyes than recent titles, its just a matter of if that level of details spreads to the whole game or if the non-curated trailer areas are still going to look like poorly rendered low resolution blocky messes.
Perhaps instead of suing anyone doing their job better they've finally decided to devote more than 10 months and a shoestring budget to their flagship franchise?
Considering how horrendous those ground textures look for a super curated reveal video like this I wouldn't expect much.
IDK man, I can ignore the pebbles on the ground not being 3D rendered if the rest of the environment looks good, I guess I'll need to see more of the game but there were certainly a few shots in that where there was enough interesting noise going on that you dont stop to look at the cracks, which is like, 50% of making a good environment, especially in a stylized graphical context.
How has no one posted Mr Windychu and Ms Waveychu yet

Interesting to see how Gamefreak/Nintendo takes on criticism of releasing a new Pokemon game every nine fucking milliseconds.
Fans get the franchise they deserve I suppose.
Or, you know...
