Is there a reason people shout Yawn after besieged?

First time since the very first besieged that i've partcipated. We won and about 500 people /shout Yawn

I will admit...Besieged BEFORE the latest General and mob AI update was absolutely horrid. It was like Dynamis x1000 without any AF2 or currency. After the latest update though, I love the feeling of purpose now. Having to guard the generals in hopes of not losing a Gate seal. Feels alot more organized, and you feel like you're working towards something, instead of aimlessly killing mobs, waiting for the inevitable mobs to warp out.

Yeah, that is the real reason. The JP said something that could have been funny once, but it turned into a 'fad'. And because NA is so JP<3, they jumped on it.

They've managed to improve it 1000x better now. They still need to fix the BLM nerf. I hit bigger blade: jins as nin/whm than Thundaga III's on single mobs. They couldn't have possibly intended to screw BLM this hard.

Agreed, and I also agree that BLMs should have their damage cap removed, and just make the resist rate relatively high, in ratio to the mob level. Not like any BLM is gonna -GA mobs anymore, practically a death sentence.

Doesnt really matter since the "AI update" if you run away 20 meters mobs unaggro and go back following their path.

It works so well.... its impossible to voke mobs to lagfree spots like I used to

I use this to my advantage usually. I only do besieged on PLD so I can keep a buffer for it. If a mob is raping my face off, I just run away until I'm out of it's aggro path, then just hide in a corner resting

Yeah I do same on NIN when I get beat up. But possibilities are in a lag free spot I wouldnt get beat up >>;
