Saw this and searched for all the big RMT I know. All there. idk who they banned on Ifrit, but idk them. It's pathetic when I watch some of them bot and we all see them everyday in the same spots but they are still around. Some of the old school RMT, who have been playing as long as me, are still around.

They explicitly said they banned accounts they found were obtaining gil in unfair ways, which seem to be things such as duping/exploiting a mistake in the game code. They said they are monitoring the accounts involved with the people who were using the unfair measures. It seems like SE doesn't care about RMT, just about duping/exploiting RMT. If SE wanted to they could easily make a purchase from IGE and find every last person who traded you that gil you buy on IGE, then simply monitor the accounts that trade the gil and then ban them all.
