The reactions on the site from readers are hilarious. I love people being so clueless about distributed computing and pissed like Sony is the one making the claims.

The headline is a little crazy but it is accurate at least. However that's like Ford making a headline like "Next years model of Ford Five Hundreds will actually drive down the highway", making it sound like it's the first car to do so.

Folding@home is cool, as was Genome and SETI, I recommend all dorks do it...it's a real contribution to society.

Sony Computer Entertainment America has reportedly clarified that the Japanese PlayStation 3 price drop announced overnight will not affect US pricing.

For those that didn't see, Sony dropped the price in Japan by 20%..from roughly 540US to 430US.

I can't see them not dropping US price now, especially after this anouncement (unless they really are this stupid)
