Which is an even level. nice.Originally Posted by jimbobsonofgod
I heard its when your sub is half of the level of your main (aka capped sub even levels), so great for level capped events, ok for leveling, lol@75.
the datamining thread says it's multiples of 10

Also, where do you get the Multiple Ring? This sounds vaguely interesting.
So then I wonder what the trick to the divisor ring is then? Since these 2 are obviously related.Originally Posted by Plow

Multiple is level 10 and works at any multiple of 10.
Divisor is level 30, my bet is works at multiples of 30.
So.. a ring that only works during 2 out of your 75 levels...Originally Posted by Bagel
That can't be it. Then again, it is SE.
At least Multiple Ring works for 7 of your 75 levels.
I'd also guess they work in completely different ways, since they are kind of opposite things, mathematically. A multiple is the product of a quantity by an integer. A divisor is the number by which a dividend is divided.
Compare Least Common Multiple to, say, Greatest Common Divisor.
It's actually Greatest Common Denominator, not Divisor, although it's probably the equivalent since the divisor is (if I remember right) what you're dividing by.Compare Least Common Multiple to, say, Greatest Common Divisor.
Maybe the latent is activated if your level divided into the level of the mob you're fighting results in a whole number. =)

Divisor is the number something is divided by (basically the same as denominator).
Basic 2nd grade math! or something.
edit: At least the Divisor ring would be usable in 30 and 60 capped areas if that was the latent...? I guess?

Maybe its' when your subjob level is a divisor of 30. Then all us 75s can go delevel our subs and play gimpedIt could also be when your mainjob level is an even multiple of your subjob level. I.e. 74/37, 72/36, etc but not 75/37, 73/36, etc.
So even number?![]()
If that's the case, I think I just cried alittle inside. *stays 74 forever!*Originally Posted by divisortheory

has anyone actually got a divisor ring and tested it yet? speculation is a waste of time.
i actually traded in my IS for the multiple ring and tested it (main job multiple of 10).
It's not a waste of time if it gives people ideas about what things to check for
