    Anime Request

    Anyone know any good animes that are worth watching that arent the mainstream ones(ie naruto, death note, bleach etc.) some of the ones that dont get alot of spotlight. Some of the anime I've watched recently is Blood+, peace maker kurogane, and shingetsutan tsukihime(I like vampires lol).

    Any suggestions would be awesome, just need something to watch to suck up time while sitting around at home.

    awesomest story I've read among all anime/manga
    Not to mention the Nasuverse is awesome itself. (You'll see how detail one event related to others, eventhough it's in different story line )

    as far as other non-typical anime. Which one do you like?
    Mecha/Comedy/ A bit romance? I suggest Full Metal Panic! Full Metal Panic! Fumoffu and Full Metal Panic! The Second Raid
    Pure Comedy? Jungle wa Itsumo Hale Nochi Guu
    Slice of Life/ a bit comedy? Honey and Clover Season I and Nodame Cantabile(currently airing till ep 7 now)

    Very strange, but very funny. Takes maybe the first two episodes to start getting into it.

    That site btw is a nice one if you don't know what to look for. Can pic ones at random and watch an episode to see if you like it.

    drama + action + samurai = samurai champloo. It should be domestically released by now

    action + vampires = hellsing ultimate. It's a new OVA series that follows a slightly different continuity than the TV series that's SLOOOOWLY trickling out stateside in the form of fansubs. No idea about a domestic release calendar yet.

    Not to double post or anything but ya try my link above.

    It's bascially about a chick who is basically obsessed with not being obsessed about her looks. She's all gothic, likes to pet skeletons, has dreams of chasing after Jason from the friday the 13th movies saying "I love you jason!".

    Then there's 4 "gorgeous" looking guys who have to make her into a lady inorder to live in their aunt's mansion for free. But she tends to get nose-bleeds looking at them since their "too light". Even though she's not really a vampire she kinda acts like one.

    You'll probably like it alot. :D

    I've never really had an anime which has good prologue and epilogue. Tsukihime game has that. And that's the reason I rated it best, besides the good storyline & depth

    edit: nope, this game is visual novel. so you are like reading a book.
