Server Issues?

Anyone else experiencing problems logging in?

On both my PC's i just R0'd and DCd (after zoning into Lower Jeuno; although, im not sure if its related). I keep R0'ing when i try to login (4 times now). Im on Gilgamesh server- some other people i know are having problems logging in (Stuck at Acquiring Player Data). . .

Servers got AIDS again?

Just had a major update. SE law stipulates there must be a minimum of 10 critical errors of the system. Each error must be followed by a minimum of 3 hours of maintenance time, and each error must be addressed by its own individual maintenance.

I cant get in either. When trying to connect to server I get:

Error code: FFXI-3113
Protocool time out error.

Haven't been able to get online since the update.

yup zoned into Yhoatar, dc'd, gets up to Aquiring Player Data and Times out
same on an alternate character

Zoned into DA, got R0, and getting R0 every time I log in now.

I logged into mules on both my accounts and they work fine. But both mains are R0'ing on login... Its really annoying hopefully it will work soon :\

I'm getting something similar to this.

I can't use my area search functions, however my player search functions work fine.

Tried entering Bastok Markets earlier as well, and got R0 immediately, and got R0 again immediately upon relog. Was able to run to Metalworks with the R0, and although I still got disconnected, upon login I was at least in the Metalworks.

Very strange. Especially since earlier my game had been running perfectly fine, and I hadn't logged out either. Leads me to believe its their servers having some probs, and not faulty installations or updates.

Exact same problem. My main and all mules tied to that ID get R0 as soon as I log on. Any mules on this account not tied to the main ID I can log on just fine (online with one of the mules right now.)

I called lolPoL Tech Support and other than giving me the BS run around about port forwarding, he said that about 42 of his 50 calls today had been about this same issue.

Waiting for a GM call through PoL right now...

Exactly same thing just happened to me... very annoying as I had just gotten my once a week invite on BLU...

Please make sure that Microsoft Network Client is installed in your PC. To check this, Open Network in the Control Panel. If you don't see the Microsoft Network Client on the list, it is not installed. To install, follow the steps below:

1. Open Network in Control Panel and select "Add."
2. From Network Components, select "Client" and then "Add."
3. From Network Client, select "Manufacturer: Microsoft" and "Network Client: Microsoft Network Client" and select "OK" to start installing.
4. Restart your PC and run FINAL FANTASY XI.

Went to my Connection and checked that the Microsoft Client was there and it was so fairly stumped

For those that are having the same issues as I did ie Raven, just R0 run to a different zone. You will DC upon entering but you should be ok after you reconnect. Weird...

I don't even have a chance to /ma Warp <me> or use the exit portal before I get kicked.

All of the messages about heavy server traffic etc that I am getting on the Tech Help sites don't make much sense either. I can log on mules 100% of the time, but my main or any mule tied to that ID gets R0 100% of the time

getting this and the constant r0 shit. error 4001 or something. Only happened when I came back from afk and zoned twice.

Was getting that R0 shit like mad-- and I couldn't do anything for while, I was locked in a Lower D- Tower room, with a porter I couldn't step on. It just stopped for me, and I gtfo of that tower fast, lol.
