Monsters with unique skins.

First of all, I have a vendetta. I've been hoping to find a Cactaur that looks different from your run of the mill. Yesterday I managed to snap a pic of Cactrot Rapido, but unfortunately he doesn't look any different from the garden-variety (pardon the pun). He might have been very slightly larger than others, but that would be it. I was really hoping he'd be super speed or at least kick up some sand as he entered the arena ; ;

Anyway, was wondering about Nightmare Sabotender from Dynamis Valkurm. Does anyone know if these can be used, or do they technically not count as a regular Sabotender? I haven't been there yet myself, so I don't even know if they actually look any different. The pictures I have seen look like they are darker than most, but maybe it's just because Dynamis is darker.

But to not make this topic entirely about me, a few mobs that I know have unique skins available.

Really? I've done Final Bout many times and I don't remember him being red in the BCNM. Did they just arbitrarily make him red or do I have teh dumb?

The picture in the wiki misled me I saw the picture they had in the wiki and I was like "SWEET! A RED GOOBBUE!" and then a friend of mine in the ls offered up 50 seals to get pics of him. He's just a regular goobbue (but he does come with innate MNK/WAR main+sub as opposed to every other goobbues WAR main) so it wasn't completely a waste. If you can get shots of him with a decent innate it might be worth using. Idunno, though. None of mine came with an innate. I know one of the plates was Critical Attack Bonus, so I'm assuming that can be one of the innates.

The green crawler model can also come from Awd Goggie and that NM whose name I'm forgetting that drops the twinthread. Anansi itself has a unique, red model.

Aren't the Diremites in Diabolos's pit recolored red?

Red bats (single/triple) can also be found in Einherjar. There's also djiggas (blue chigoes).

There's also the Brenner spheroids (detectors), although I'm not sure I'm not sure if they can be captured.

Aren't normal chigoes red/orange and djiggas from einherjar blue?

Jagils (the fancy colored tropical pugils. I used one for a while, they are okay.)

Also there's Odqan-colored clusters which are pretty irritating to get.

I like having uniquely colored monsters, it's like having a shiny pokemon~ <3

On another note, does anyone know if size is considered on the skins? For several NMs the only difference is that they are slightly larger, but I haven't been able to tell if they all default to the same size or if they retain the original's size.

I wouldn't call those unique, you can get them in Zhayolm

Yeah, I guess. Still only two places you can get them though, Purgonorgo and Zhayolm, and they're kind of out of the way at both places.

ToAU used a lot of skins which used to be rarer (more rare?). Jagils, red bats, green crawlers, and black worms come to mind.

Nightmare Sabotenders are normal (skin-wise) AFAIK.

if it's a huge difference like the sons of anansi I would imagine they do, but if it's something minor probably not
