Drop Rates

Is it just me or are drop rates crap is the past. I'm 1/84 on lynx hide and 0/34 on gnole claw. You would think items used in quests would have a decent drop rate but I been here for 2 hours killings Gnoles just so I can continue the missions. Am I just having bad luck or are drop rates this bad for everyone?

Kill War Lynx-s. They seem to have better drop rates. I imagine there are War Gnomes somewhere, but I certainly never found them.

Currently I'm out harvesting trying to get myself some freaking Fresh Marjoram for my first windy mission. >.<

went 2/5 on gnole claws on the gnole in south jugner by the Maw with TH2.

0/20ish on Gnoles in Batallia....0/1 so far on Decrepit Gnole in jugner. Haven't seen a Smilodon hide drop in over 40 tigers.

I went 6 for about 80 on Smilodon Hides in the northeast section of Vunkerl Inlet. Long stretches with literally zero drops, and twice went back-to-back.

can anyone confirm that ALL lyxn, gnoles and smilidon type mobs drop hides/claw? would suck if ive been killin 300 smilidon in battlia downs only to find out teh hides ONLY drop off a certain type

Well, the CoP team did make this expansion, right? And we know how CoP drop rates are.

I just hope that they don't do the same thing as CoP did with pop NM drop rates. Swift Belt in particular comes to mind.

wel i can deal with teh drop rate as long as i KNOW what im killing will drop it eventually... id ont wanna waste time killin something that wasnt gonna drop anyway lol.. as for the cop team makin this expansion.... judging from teh missions i definitely couldnt tell... CoP staring CS alone was 10 times better than the mission CSs ive seen so far lol

Doesn't seem too different from CoP yet, except perhaps minus the mission/storyline aspect.

1/1 on Gnole Claw on the Decrepit Gnoles right near the Maw, but none on the same named Gnoles further away. *shrug*, but 1/2 now so far (killed a second one, since we need a second).

Yeah... SE really seem to not want anyone to farm any money out of the expansion. Low drop rates on most things, especially those that are easily soloable. Also no NMs outside of the Campaign NMs (which drop nothing).

2/200 or so on Lynx Hides in Sauromugue.

1/50 or so on Smilodon Hides.

1/30 on Lyco flowers.

0/varies on Toads, Raffs, Slugs, Yags, Gobs.

First Goobue I killed dropped a Tree Cutting, aggroed me, thought that was a nice surprise, never seen one since.

gawd this sucks.. day 3 and still no drops... im about ready to ask for screenshots just for visual proof that this stuff indeed does exist (well i knwo it exists as ive seen it in teh AH so moer like.... as visual proof that it does at least drop off the stuff Im killing lol)

i think i went aobut 1/450 on Gnolles In total? haha try the ones in inlet they seem to have a higher drop rate

welp i can at least finally confirm the tigers in batilia down S DO drop hides.. i finally got one.... now for a claw and a lynx hide lol
