    PCI Coolers/Exhausts?

Recently got a new Desktop with a 8800 Geforce and I was considering getting a PCI Exhaust blower to suck out the hot air from the case.

Some claim it cooled their Card/System Temp by ~5°C when they placed it under their Video Card.
Others say it does more harm than good since it restricts air-flow to the Video Card Fan, preventing/restricting it from blowing air onto the GPU to cool it properly.

Anyone have any experience using Exhausts?
And any recommendations on cheap and cheerful cooling options? Or maybe just get another fan to suck cool air into the case?

when I started reading the thread, this popped up in my head

"Others say it does more harm than good since it restricts air-flow to the Video Card Fan, preventing/restricting it from blowing air onto the GPU to cool it properly."
and then you mentioned it. I would say just let it be. Those cards (like any other card) go through heavy testing before actually getting released.

If you're concerned about the cooling in your case, just take 5min to evaluate the way the air circulates. Add a fan in the front pulling cool air in, and 2 in the back pushing hot air out. Remember, exhausting hot air better than sucking cool air in.

pci slot coolers have more cons than pros with videocards that have pre-installed exhaust fans installed on them. iirc, all 8800 series come with them unless their the silent type with heatsink attached.
