My buddy keeps sending out announcements about this movie over Facebook and I never took initiative to watch it. I've watched bits and pieces now and it seems to be a big deal going around the internet now.

I just don't know much about it.... why was this movie made? It just seems like a giant conspiracy movie. The different parts deal with Christianity, Federal Reserve, 9/11, etc.

The only thing that is even worth mentioning about Zeigeist is the chapter on Federal Reserve. And they still managed to dick up that part somehow. The Fed Reserve story isn't even considered a conspiracy by most historians, philosophers, etc. If you take it from the basic level on American history, its not hard to believe how/where the wealth is distributed in the world.

Anyways, Zeigeist's story on Fed Reserve sucks, if you're in the least bit curious, I recommend watching this one instead: http://www.teachpeace.com/themoneymasters.htm Its old, but its the most concrete and easy-to-follow documentary I've come across about it.

Yes, this movie is over-hyped nonsense and poorly produced. This shit is not going to be taken seriously by anyone who's not already thinking the same way that he does, even if what he has to say were "true". Cheap attacks on Religion, mixed with world domination, and some popular viewpoints on 9/11 = A pot full of unwatchable bullshit.

Nobody cares about your hate for religion, put that shit into a seperate documentary and maybe people will take you seriously lol Wouldn't recommend wasting your time on this docu, so many better films to watch, that get a bad rep. thanks to this kind of diarrhea being the flagship for alternative thinking.
