    Jailer of Fort. Question

Alright, so I've read up on how to pull fort without his pets and such... and the only question left for me to ask is, if two people cast on him at near the same time will he reflect both of those Spells? Because otherwise I could see the Rdm nukes (lolrdm nukes) clocking the blm if they're not careful.

    reflect is the operative word.

    Re: Jailer of Fort. Question

If the RDM nukes Fort, he'll re-cast it right back onto the RDM. It won't bother the BLM, unless you're cast some sort of -ga spell.

Unrelated tip: spam Dia on it if you want to slow him down for whatever reason (dc'ing BLM, turns to the wrong person at the wrong time, blah blah blah). He'll sit there casting Dia over and over again back at you.

Oh, >.< lol I was under the impression that it casted on whoever it had hate on. Thanks a lot for the advice, can someone else with experience confirm all of that just so I know I'm crazy

As a DRK, I spammed stone to slow him down. Damage is minimal (or just sub nin).

I've done the cast/reflect thing as 75THF/20BLM, casting Stone whenever it was needed. Haha, barely did any damage when cast back on me.

One question my group had for this situation, does it reflect songs as well or is it spells only?

P.S. - Collaborator is great for helping with hate on the mages.

just thought I'd throw it out there, but I've successfully separated it with a duo partner about 10 times just by zoning it on RDM and having the BLM grab fort without even casting on the kf'ghrahs, the first time I R0ed when I popped it and couldn't cast so I just ran and to my surprise it separated them and we've done it that way every since, OFN? quite possibly.

    Re: Jailer of Fort. Question

Thanks a lot guys, killed him today with Me on Blm/nin, two Rdm/nin 1x brd 2 nin/whm's and a mnk/whm. took him down in around 10 minutes. whenever I needed to nuke all the people /whm just dia spammed and I could waste my entire mp pool before he got to me. The two nin's also did decent damage spamming ele wheel lol. Torque didn't drop but watching him stop in place was worth it enough for me XD
    Thanks again

    Re: Jailer of Fort. Question

It has some degree of physical damage reduction(SAM's SAWS should be a fixed minimum due to guaranteed 1.0 pdif from crit~ seen more than enough SAWS do under 100 on it), likely combined with high defense, I'm not sure if it can be done with dia3/angon/double brds in melee parties but I was under the impression melee on fortitude is about as productive as nuking temperance.. except it gives TP <_<

    Meleeing Fort is AWESOME...

For one reason, there is NOTHING funnier than seeing a Blm nuke, him stop to nuke, and then turn and VORPAL THE FUCKING UNHOLY FACE OFF of another Blm at random.
