Usukane - Techdemo

I was bored today and thinking what mischief I could create. As a result a little movie came out.

It is basically a little showcase of what you can do combining and balancing all the strengths of the Usukane Set and running wild on some 2005 enemies. Forgive me some minor errors as i am not usually on PC.

u think a mnk/nin could do the same with full usukane? i bet the evasion would help survival as well, but no serk/DA would cause slower kills. sweet vid man^^

Mnk/nin > Nin/war for damage regardless of DA/Zerk with near same evasion even. Not to mention blunt benefits.

MNK doesn´t have any debuffs besides Penance. You might get short on Utsusemi timers.

I don't have Utsu macro'd. In fact, I have nothing but WS and gear switches etc macro'd >_>'

This goes for NIN/DRK as well. Playing on PC, I find it bleh sometimes trying to use macros, because I tend to not hit keys hard enough and the macro doesn't go through. Personal preference.

MNK doesn´t have any debuffs besides Penance. You might get short on Utsusemi timers.

Mnk gets faster kills via more DoT, Counterstance, Chakra, More haste(shorter recast), and more evasion (for 30 seconds our of every 5 min for what thats worth Q.Q). Only real thing a nin is getting over mnk is longer endurance on the shadows they have via 1 more shadow and para/blind/slow. I would say the Nin probably has more survivabilty as some badly timed non counter procs can ruin any solo adventure, but they can both hold their own very well. I have both jobs pretty well geared and have been waiting for Usu35 body to drop for a while to finish the set, so I will test out the difference in soloing in them then. The big thing that probobly puts the favor into Nin court for soloing would be Nin can sub /dnc and still keep shadows for even greater endurance.

I HATE that so much. I'll sit there and jab CTRL-1 on THF about 6 times before Utsusemi goes off, and by then the mob attacks me and fucking interrupts ni. Retarded bullshit.

Shot in the dark, full usukane? ^.- can probably make a good guess at what the other slots are. I'd say amemet+1/foragers/cerb/+1 all of which won't make much difference between them, swift/speed/veloc, hope/peacock, brutal/suppa, snipers/+1/rajas.

There is some Evasion in there. Boxer Mantle, Eva Torque & Ungur Boomerang. The time you save not having to cast shadows by evading beats the time you gain by equipping offensive items there.
