I arrived at my polling location at 530AM this morning. 400 freaking people were ahead of me, so I got out of there at 730AM. Our polls open at 6AM.

I voted early and only had to wait in line 10 minutes (wasn't really a line, they sat me in a chair and called my name when it was my turn).

Only two days later, my sister went to vote and it took her an hour and a half.

I voted today and I waited in line from 6:30-8am to vote before class ... i've never seen so many minorities out to vote it was honestly shocking. It seems like everyone that could vote is voting today.

It would be nice if the US didn't have so many "bad-weather voters," thereby only voting when things are deemed bad. If 4 years down the road things are good, I would bet a load of money that a vast majority of these new voters don't turn out.

NYS gives you 2 hours paid time off of your work shift to vote. I'm leaving at 3:15 and voting then to take advantage of that.
