My friend's been hounding me for this information since the update was finished and the wiki has no information on the NPC. If I remember correctly, this NPC is supposed to be available to married male characters only to buy the wedding set.

I have yet to find the NPC. It's very frustrating... I'm also wondering if you have to have been married in the past for the NPC to offer you the argent set? If that's the case I think i'm like one of 15 ppl on Carbuncle who'll be looking for it [/sigh]
Still looking. >.<
Pretty sure it's a crafted item.
There should be the NQ & HQ crafted sets, and the rare/ex set that (in theory) could be purchased from this mysterious NPC.
I thought the rare/ex version was going to be from/during weddings only. Thought I read that somewhere but I could be hallucinating.
As posted in other thread as far as benedight coat goes:

FFFFFFFFFFFUUUUUUUUUUUUU
Rare/ex version is when you actually get married in game. There is a rare/ex for the female version as well and you can only get it when you are married by a GM.
Can't speak for others in full certainty but I'm fully aware of the differences between Wedding Dress vs. Opaline and Benedight vs. Argent and so is most likely anyone else who has had a Vana'diel Wedding over the last couple of years. In JP fanfest notes SE points out that the male rare/ex version (Benedight in the .dats after yesterday's patch) will be available to those who were previously married via an NPC. However as the GM screenshot above your post points out, the said NPC is not implemented yet and that is what this thread was about. We're asking where to buy it because we were already married by a GM.
For the crafted Argent set, some of the synth recipes are already up on Wiki.
Hope they add this soon, maybe with the Maze Monger thing...
Got married a year ago in BLM AF2 and bonecraft specs, lol... R/EX prz. I imagine it would be pretty easy to code... show the npc your wedding ring, get an option to buy the set for 50k.
lol now all those worthless cloths i've been getting from sheep in antlion's all the sudden shot up over night. Crafted alright... crafted
i swear they macro that! lolOriginally Posted by GMSkirata
