I was running around Attowa Chasm getting ENM items today, and got lost in the maze o rocks (again) and found the stupid "Lumisant" spot for the stone key item. So I read up on Wiki to check out the rewards. According to Wiki, if you can get the stone to the top in 60 seconds, you'll get a Mimeo Stone out of the deal (recover 100% HP, 100% MP, 300% TP).

I was wondering if it's even physically possible to *get* to the top at that speed (using normal game mechanics, that is >.>; Only way I could figure out how to do it would be to grab the key item near death, die and let a chain of mages positioned on ledges on the way up tractor you, then have someone chainspell raise you at the top.

Just curious if anyone else has any ideas or experience.

Zoning removes key item so no tractoring, only doable with pos, once upon a time I saw a RMT use one in onzozo so it does exist.. friend of mine got hers for maat fight too in like 2005 lol

also item is regain feather not mimeo stone

Just so you know, it's a trap.

I've heard of a few people who have POS'd to the top to get a Regain Feather, and were auto-jailed soon after.

And by "I've heard of", I mean I've seen it happen first hand.

I don't remember the details, but long ago someone posted here some theory about being able to get extended time of decay if you hold other feathers in your inventory? Like get first feather, lessens decay so it's easier to get 2nd feather, etc. Anyone else remember this? Or was it someone just speculating or trying to cover up their own POS use?

Yeah it was BS, I had a number of these like 2-3 years ago. I tried to do legit but it's not happening, cheated to get them all lol

I don't do any of it anymore, at all, so not sure about the auto-jailing.

i have tried several time, and never gotten up in time. to me, the only possible way to get there in time is knowing the exact fastest route from the point to the top, going THF with AF boots for 45sec flee, and having several powder boots, and getting extremely lucky in the climb and not falling off at flee speed.

A friend of mine sent me a SS of having all 5 feathers (They are 5 right?), and had a bunch of powder boots in inv. But that was back in 05-06 when POS'in was the cool thing to do, so idk.

'bunch of powder boots' is bullshit
you only have 60 secs, you'd use one pair then hit thing and go for mountain then flee when your pair wears as if you blink through flee it costs you no time while boots always cost ~2 secs.. that's already 60 secs so if you had actually gotten it that way you'd know you only need one pair

It's doable, but you need to know your route thoroughly, and you might wish to place a few BRDs on the hills waiting for you to hit you with Mazurka.

Movement speed gear + Fleeboots with a ready cooldown (I'd take 2 pairs) plus a couple bards and THF sub will get you up there if you can control your character when moving that quickly up the narrow paths.

Also, you don't get insta-banned for getting the feather, I used to get one before doing the ENMs there using POS and I didn't get banned during that time.

The 60-90 second item is RR3, which is also nice to get if you're farming Luminants with POS

mazurka doesn't stack with flee, by all means if it's doable then someone do+record it.. all you'd need is a pair of powder boots or hermes quencher and flee JA available for max possible speed

This doesn't work. While you have time to touch 2 feathers, touching a second one doesn't do anything. I personally did this mini quest successfully twice with crimson and the campaign boots but only got rr1 feather and blaze spike feather. I think it's doable with /thf. There is one spot only where getting to the top is doable, located right at the start of the claimbing path, you just have to hope that the luminant is here and the invisible wall is not up. The idea is to check the luminants until this one is up.

Video of what ? getting blaze feather, that's kinda easy to get since the time limit is like 3 or 4 min.

It's plausible but it never can happen in practicality, flee is obviously required.

Right at the base of the mountain on the side where you can climb up, there's 2 rocks that are always blocking the quickest path, and there is a spawn for a luminant not very far away, even if there were some condition to move those rocks, which i've always seen there, you still have the 2 miasma{I think thats the name} barriers that are also timed randomly{possibly not, needs research}, assuming those rocks aren't there, and the miasma barriers are down when you run by, and the luminant is there.. it might be doable
