Eastern Shadow in Nyzul

Is the appraisal rate around as bad or worse/better then camping the NM itself? I tried camping it the last few days but no lucky whatsoever. (For very long long periods of time). Should I expect the appraisal rate to be similar to the drop/pop rate in Fei'Yin?

Out of the 200+ ??? items I've appraised from Nyzul and assaults, I have seen a grand total of:

One Heim earring

...That's all. Take that info as you will.

Nyzul appraisal rate in general is something like 3-5%. If you want the bow, you're probably better off trying your luck on the real NM.

Going on almost a year and a half with a great many climb runs for that range and boss runs, too... nothin but those crappy bows after having killed it. I can confidently say that Nyzul rate is considerably worse.

If you want to play the heart of the cards, then by all means camp it when its open and do Nyzul every chance possible and knock yourself out.

Strongly suggest making the gil and buying Ebow. Selling Ebow after getting Vali's can be considered a bonus.

Camping AND doing Nyzul is obviously the right answer. My group got a Cassie Earing this week, so shit does indeed drop.

My group was 1/1 on my v bow from eastern in nyzul, since then gone to about 1/3 in total(rarely seemed to be up) before we broke. Saved me what probably would have been a long time in Fei'yin.

Best we got was Cassie and Peacock Amulet, but that bow refuses to appraise into it... Same with Splerlunker's Hat XD

Vali's Bow and Dryad Staff are the two best drops we've had since the end of April last year. We've had a few 100k items and until Vali's nothing exceptional. We wanted to give it to a friend who has been camping as the guys in the party had a vali's in one case and an e bow in the other but he didn't make it in time. E Bow kitty got.

We managed to get VBow and PCC in the same night. Other then that though, I think the only "real" appraisal we've gotten is the scythe from Hellion.

I believe a group in my linkshell got 2-3 Vbows from nyzul appraisals in a short period of time(2 weeks?). This was a long time ago though, don't remember a lucky streak like that lately.
About E. Shadow in Fei'Yin....I spent a week down there, went 1/8 without any TH.

Only real Nyzul drops I've seen have been THREE Spelunker's Hats; two of which from the same run. -_-

I've seen 2 D staff, 2 Ungurs, 1 Trotters(to me) 1 PCA (to me) 1 V bow
1 spelunkers and a few of the lower level shit that nobody really cares about.

I've done 5 separate climbs from 1-100 and farmed on the side in about an a year and a 1/2 worth of nyzul.

I think I went 1/25ish on the bow in ages past on camping the NM. The shitty thing about the NM is it just has like a 16 hour interval that you have to camp it iirc. Competition varies on some days youll see 2 people on some days youll be the only one. People eventually get lucky and get it or they just run out of stamina. I'd suggest camping it over the summer where you can donate your time and always have someone keeping a log of its TOD or whatnot.
