I don't have a .txt, but this is what I use when I feel like making goofy JP faces...
edit: nevermind, site's dead..
I'm on ps2 but I found this a while back.. Hiroette.com ||| Japanese Facemarks(smileys) |||
raggeh_: Kaomoji.txt
I found this randomly looking through FFXI Livejournals awhile back and refer to it a lot to make faces and bazaar comments. o(`ω´*)o
Kaomoji = literally 'face characters'
Here's my favorite : (ノ ゜Д゜)ノ ==== ┻━━┻
google "JP facemarks".

The IME dictionaries for POL have always been there for download if you use the JP client or the Windows IME.

The problem I am finding is getting usable alt commands to make the friggen symbols like upsidedown triangle and other symbols ect.
Either there is a site that lists the basics I dont give a shit about or lists commands that I try yield a "?" in the chat window or just plain don't work.
Thats a bigger problem IMO
Anytime I think of JP faces I think of this:

A lot of the symbols they use are Russian and Greek. Unless you have a way of typing those then yeah, it will be really difficult. I believe you can make them easily only through Windows IME (jp text input) but I'm not sure what makes them. I know if you type 'maru' (circle) in hiragana for example and hit the spacebar it will give you various circles to use, not sure if you type, say, 'omega' if it will give you the omega symbol. Ω ω
Oh yup, typing omega brings up those two.
KAOMOJI DICTIONARY
Probably all the faces you can think of. Please note that use of these faces may put you at risk of a warning/ban if you are not using the english-only client - Tell-tale sign of 3rd party tool.
Meh, just don't put it in your bazaar or seacom and you will be ok. Even then, most GMs don't give a shit. Just the asshole ones. >.>
JP use symbols all over the character map. Go to START -> RUN -> charmap to find symbols from other alphabets you might want to use.
One of the ones I had to hunt down myself is Bible Fight.
You won't find it any listing or search online (trust me I tried), so I pieced it together myself:

It's my favorite :D
As far as GMs, don't worry. I've already discussed this with a few GMs. Because of the built in windower and because of microsoft's keyboard layout creator which you can get as a optional download from windows update for XP(SP2+) and Vista, you can type japanese characters without using IME.
Personally, even if they allowed us to use IME, I still wouldn't be able to do it, lol.
Anyways, its possible to type japanese characters without the use of a third party program such as windower. I actually had a GM contact me when I was doing it by manually editing my macro dat files or manipulating G15 keyboard. Didn't have any problems then either, and G15 is way more 3rd party than MSKLC. Of course, I didn't tell him about manually editing my .dat files![]()
Knowing most typical GM's. I'd avoid doing this on anything but a registered JP client. I've seen people in my linkshell suspended for using the "official windower" and windows-based IME with it. Whether is was bazaar/seacom related, etc. They got reported by douchebags.
But whatever. To each his own I suppose.
