Anyone got any info on this fight? Just got our asses handed to us. Weve beaten the other 2 rather easily, but this one was just rediculous. We tried having one pld pull the elementals off one by one, while another kited the NM and the rest around, but the elementals ingored ALL actions from anyone but the person with hate on the Boss.

Any way to seperate the NMs?

Any comments?

Remembered nuking the elementals to death quickly with 2-3 blms. Can't remember the exact makeup though.

We tried that, but the elementals completely ignored them and ran off to chase the tank. Perhaps binding them then time nuke over and over..

Also, if NM ever gets in range of kiter its byebye.

I started a thread for this a bit ago too, got some PMs but basically half of the people say that they had no problem voking eles off one at a time and that they were able to easily hold them timed nuke them with 6-7 BLMs...then the other half(including my group) report the eles fully shared hate with the Yag and would not separate for our fucking lives no matter how many vokes/stuns/JAs/pies we threw at them.

Best advice I've come up with so far: stick to the other 2 zones. The drops for this one are meh, and the zone is annoying as shit to navigate.

Have done once, won but had a full wipe at start. I tryed straight tanking which resulted in a very quick death, elements def stuck to who had hate on nm. We raised up and i just kited while blms nuked one element at a time, lot easier. Becomes very easy once elements dead.

I was in the run Tymora is referring to. We used a SCH to help keep the eles bound at start to buy more time to kill them. I could give more details, but really I just ripped the strat off of a thread here about it. If you can find that, it's got all you need.

Looking at our kill log, we had 15 people. If I'm remembering jobs right it was PLD WAR (or DRK? forget what job he was on) MNK (wanted him BLM but he AFKed while people were job changing), 2 RNGs, COR, WHM, 3 BLM, SCH, and some other misc support jobs like probably a BRD and another RDM, maybe another COR. PLD died I think because he got hit with grav aura, so the WAR (or DRK) kited it. Once eles died, people just went nuts. It's easy to bounce him from above/below the bridge.

Kiting was somewhat confused at the start (as I said, our intended kiter died right off the bat pretty much) but after eles went down and it was one of those "whichever BLM last nuked it is kiting" situations, we settled into using the first and second levels, circling around the middle ramp and the left ramp between the two, and nuking from the bridge when he was running below, and nuking from below when he was on the bridge. Something like this (I don't remember the exact layout of the BC but it's something like this, anyway):
