Well, the ninja spell is "Suiton", but the "suton" that I wrote above (which I've now replaced to be more accurate) is just a bit of an oddity of Japanese spelling. Almost all of their syllables consist of a consonant followed by a vowel, or just a vowel (with the special exception of "n"). That is, there's no way to say "ston", it has to be split into 3 syllables. Su-to-n. In cases like this, they typically use the consonant followed by a "u", because that's generally the "quietest" vowel, it fades out easily. Say "suton" somewhat quickly, and don't put any emphasis on the "u", and it's quite close to "ston".
