lulz that's Thor's old guild isn't it (@BG WoW people)
Edit: Ensidia is still homo and needs some tissues to wipe up their tears, though. I haven't followed them for a while but I'm pretty sure they get hella special treatment from Blizz.
EU just popped a massive e-boner.
Fuck Casuals.
I like Exodus' post on their main site. I can see why they're a bit bitter over it too.
Hey, fuck you buddy!Fuck Casuals.
(i can't find that troll picture with those words :/ anyone have it)?
Exodus' post was awesome, its true that Ensidia gets a lot of special treatment, but then again so do a lot of top guilds (sup Fusion getting their own instance ID on the PTR while the rest of us waited outside).
Then again, if they were anyone else but Exodus, they would have gotten permabanned instead of a 72 hour. So they can't really cry.
yeah, that's thor's old guild
and ya, they get hardly anybody calling them out on their exploits back when we were doing vashj (MC crazy one) and hearing that they killed her and seeing that screenshot... thats why i don't respect nihilum itself, exploited on c'thun, vashj, and something else. don't remember the 3rd.
Bitches got what they deserved. I mean honestly... evade bugging mobs to win? And they thought Blizzard would be OK with that?
Really?
Sure they get what they deserved, but honestly it's not very fair that the EU(nihilum/ensidia) don't even get glanced at for their exploiting. Blizzard clearly favors them and slaps Exodus on the wrist for this. It's bullshit, tbh. I honestly don't see a huge ass problem with it, because it's a flaw in blizzards game mechanics.
Flaws are meant to be found, and fixed. Inconsistencies of the past aside, it's a far cry better than SE's "Oh, it's alright if you dupe Salvage Drops"
LOLUBanned
The old wisdom was 'exploit early, exploit often' because Blizzard wouldn't ban you for it, as long as you weren't doing stupid shit like removing entire pieces of terrain from the game files. This has been true since folks were using Spyglasses against Ragnaros four years ago. And despite the constant trickle of nerfs to guardians it seems Blizzard is suddenly protective of their latest super-bosses.
Quite certain the 72 hr ban is just so blizzard can reset the characters' loot and achievements to prior the kill, just like what they did with the guy who got this: Martin Fury - Item - World of Warcraft
I dunno about past exploits, but after watching the yogg +0 kill it was about the biggest exploit imaginable. Pretty much made every single mob bug out and there were like 50+ guardians they just stood there and didn't do anything. I don't think it's their fault for doing it this way, hell... blizz should of been one step ahead and actually bug tested their crap in everyone possible way. But i do find it funny :D
boss/event that is unbeatable or ridiculously difficult
players find exploit to kill it
game maker gets pissy and bans players
seems vaguely familiar![]()
Alot of these guys use to play on my server until they all left after some guild drama, i belive robasuras ( spelling ) ninjaed the gbank for like 30k and something like another 30k again in mats and recipes. Either way most of these guys are total arses dont feel sorry for them in the slightest, clever use of game mechanics, exploiting, cheating whatever you want to call its wrong no questions.
The amount of tears from Ensidia was great. It's not like any of these top guilds are any "better", they all jump at exploiting / hacking to get ahead.
tbh yeah they did it, but they wrote up a ticked informing Blizzard about it. I just dont think they deserve to be bashed for it. I probably woulda kept quite about it, no video thats for sure.
I guarantee if Ensidia found the bug first they would have exploited the crap out of it and would get away with it with a 'stern warning'. But no, since they were beaten to the punch by a rival they had to openly cry foul until they got their way.
I wonder why then Ensidia never got suspended for all their bugged/exploited kills.
