lolk. Still though, go away.
Who knows?Opponents of the deal with PhRMA hope that Obama is playing a multilayered game, making a deal in order to keep the drug makers in his camp for now, but planning to double-cross them in the end if he needs to in order to pass his signature initiative.
Hmmm. Because we didn't have enough of this already I guess?
You're missing the all important multicolored, tagged, bolded, underlined, and italicized formatting though. Please update your post to conform properly.
Oh god, inb4 Lief and Egon.
Big important bill that affects everybody gets watered down to maintain support!
News at 11.
I thought this was a religion thread. Wtf.
It's because he's a muslim!
inb4Kuya, wow
If the memo is real and points to yet another lack of transparency with how the Obama White House does business then yes there is actually a news story here. Being so dismissive by saying 'that's politics, gang!' is getting wearisome after multiple reversals on campaign promises from Obama. Granted, I didn't vote for the eedjit over his health care reforms, but is it too much to hold him accountable for going opaque now that he has the job?
Of course if the memo is inauthentic then lolwhocares etc. etc.
he's not even amaricen
KENYAN POLITIZS GTOF
Gibbs confirmed it already lol. Just another politician![]()
First, why make a new thread for this when we already have 2 others, one of which is still on the first page.
Second, umm.. we ALL knew about this months ago HuffPo. Where were you? The pharma industry's on board because when more people are covered by health insurance, more people are prescribed medication that they actually need, and then the prices go down long term. The AMA is on board for similar reasons - reform would cut costs for doctors, making the care itself less expensive.
Plus the short-term cost savings benefits for all of us are truly amazing.
When you have the base costs being cut like this, re-importation isn't as necessary because the prices for prescription medicine go down either way.In exchange, the Pharmaceutical Researchers and Manufacturers Association (PhRMA) agreed to cut $80 billion in projected costs to taxpayers and senior citizens over ten years.
If this legislation is targeting anyone, it's the health insurance industry who has been allowed for FAR too long to leave people sick, dying, and deep in debt, and doctors and hospitals are going bankrupt, while their own pockets are lined with cash.
people should get banned for political trolling, or at least take that shit to spam.
edit: to clarify, i don't mind political threads, but deliberate troll ones like this are fucking retarded and never end well
not a troll title at all
There are problems with Obama and gov't transparency, but it's worth pointing out that HuffPo is pretty insane when it comes to anything related to medicine. These are people that detest pharmaceutical companies and have become a bit irrational about it imo.
That's why I'm questioning what the hell HuffPo is doing. Obama's negotiations with PhRma haven't been secret at all. If anything he's been gloating at the fact that he made the deal and they're actually supporting his efforts to reform health care!
way too many people with a 8" black man penis in their throat in this thread
