Ghetto Cooking
I make a lot of pasta but I have no sauce pan. I went to buy one today and saw they were all around 50$. Next to those pans were stir fry pans that were only 25$, can you cook pasta sauce in a stir fry pan?

also, you can cut the cost by shopping for pots that have regular lids instead of glass lids. it's a little less convenient but glass lids are like an automatic +20-30 bucks
-
Are you talking about actually MAKING a sauce or just pouring out some canned shit and heating it up?

to cook pasta properly you need a crapton of water, otherwise it's gonna be all shitty and sticky, that means you need a pot, not a pan.
also i'll cut yer hands off if i catch you putting oil in the water, and don't forget the fucking salt
-
wait, you just need a pan in which to mix the cooked pasta and the sauce?
god fucking damnit you just drained a fucking pot, slam the pasta back in it and mix it with sauce

Ya I will basically just be heating up sauce from a jar and adding 1 or 2 things. I didn't use a pan with a lid last year that was my roommates so it doesn't have to be fancy at all. The amazon link is for americants and with shipping it would likely be more than the stir fry pan anyway. If a stir fry pan works I will just get it, I just don't want to find out they can't take enough heat (never made stir fry so I don't know shit about those pans)
