Server Transfers?

Someone in my legion says they`re offering free server transfers from today till 31st of January, being able to transfer 5x max per week. Said legionmate is planning on hopping to Siel, buying godstones, and coming back to Azphel. Source in a sec.

The game list on that article says it is for city of heroes and city of villains. I'm sure if they were actually doing this for Aion, they would have posted it on the aion front page. Would be nice though

Nice point out, I was skeptical too since I couldn`t find anything on the front page about it. I actually couldn`t find his source either, is why I had to come back and edit it in.

It’s a difficult decision, but we are delaying the deployment of our server transfer system until we can do it right for you. We will eventually honor our promise to give eligible players the opportunity to transfer for free, but we’re shooting to implement transfers in the first half of 2010, though we don’t have a specific deadline for you.

Did you quit (assuming you did from sig) because of the game or pvp issue on your server?

Elyos fail on my server, but I still like the game. I wish in general though, that pvp was more constant. Like that there would be more gameplay elements that facilitated more pvp situations.

How did WoW do that or other other pvp MMOs?

WoW has constant battlegrounds running throughout the day and a single large scale PvP event every few hours I guess you could somewhat compare to a fortress siege. Each battleground has different objectives to it, with the starter one being a basic capture the flag, but I am not sure what you have to do in the higher level battlegrounds. Out of the lower level ones, it was mostly like 12 on 12 but I can't really tell you much about endgame pvp of WoW since I have yet to do a battleground on my 80. I do think its a pretty cool idea, but I'm sure people who actually played WoW PvP can give the pros and cons of it.

I'm getting sick of people speaking Russian/French/Spanish/Polish/German etc in the main channels on my so-called [ENG] server. Whenever I join a party it's like "GER???" and it seems like 80% of the non-British people are retarded 13 year old kids that have to put a minimum of 4 explanation marks or question marks after everything?????!!!!!!

I'm guessing the US servers aren't as bad as this... sure there will be douches, but at least i could understand the douches.
