Charlie Brooker's Screenwipe/Newswipe

Anyone else a fan of the series? It don't think it shows outside the U.K. but not sure. I know it isn't shown in the U.S. at least.

Anyways, for anyone who is unfamiliar, Screenwipe is a lot like a hybrid of the "the Soup" and "Penn & Teller: Bullshit". His new series Newswipe just premiered as well which is supposed to apply the same style to current news. The series is all about British television and the inner workings of T.V. in general.

Definitely smacks of a British version of the Daily Show, which is good.

On a related note, I had no idea Britain had a "the View" knockoff. Poor bastards. I'm constantly surprised how many similar shows the US and UK share.
